LANCASTER COUNTY STATION 10
|
THANK YOU FOR YOUR
SUPPORT
|
OUR PURPOSE
Indian Land Volunteer Fire Department was chartered in 1954 with a vision of
our fore fathers. We still use the same vision as or current mission statement:
TO SERVE THE INDIAN LAND COMMUNITY
(LOOK FOR UPDATES TO THIS AS WE ARE
ADDING ON TO OUR STATION WITH EXPECTED COMPLETION AUGUST 2011)
Indian Land VFD is located on Six Mile Creek Road just off Highway 521 N. 1
mile south of Indian Land Schools.
Our new Station was built by our members and several citizens in the community.
The station is a metal structure 100 feet long, 50 feet wide. We have two truck
bays capable of holding six pieces of equipment. The closed area has 2 floors,
the first floor houses a large meeting/training room, kitchen, office, storage
room, and restrooms. The second floor has crew quarters, and additional office
space.
